Free · self-hosted · yours to keep

Free leads. People are already asking for what you sell.

Lead Radar searches Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, Google and job boards every morning. It shows you the people asking for help, in their own words, with a link to every post.

Free to start: 100 free search credits and Railway's free trial. Never posts, comments or messages anyone.

How it works

From one sentence to a list of people who need you.

01 · DESCRIBE

Say what you sell.

One plain sentence. Lead Radar drafts the search plan: the phrases buyers actually write, where to look, and the signs of a seller to skip.

02 · SEARCH

It reads the internet.

Posts and comments from the last 1 to 14 days across nine sources, plus businesses hiring for the work on job boards.

03 · SORT

AI keeps only buyers.

People asking for what you sell are rated High, Medium or Low. Sellers, job seekers, how-to questions and spam are set aside.

04 · DAILY

New leads every morning.

Tick Daily and it runs at 11:00 UTC, adding only posts it hasn't seen. You decide who to contact, and how.

Starts ready to run

Six example campaigns are waiting when you log in.

They come from real campaigns. Click Run now on the closest one, or use it as a starting point for your own. None runs until you say so.

The checklist

Ten minutes, three sign-ups, one click.

Tick them off as you go.

  1. Get a ScrapeCreators key

It does the searching. Sign up at app.scrapecreators.com and copy your API key.

100 free credits · no card
  2. Get an OpenRouter key

The AI that reads the posts. Sign up at openrouter.ai, add $5 of credit, then create a key at openrouter.ai/keys.

    $5 lasts many runs
  3. Click Deploy on Railway

Open the one-click install, sign in (GitHub is quickest), paste the two keys and press Deploy. Your password is made for you.

    $20 Railway referral credit*
  4. Open your dashboard

In Railway, click the service. Settings → Networking has your web address (no address? click Generate Domain). Variables → RADAR_DASHBOARD_PASSWORD is your password.

  5. Run an example, then tick Daily

Press Run now on an example, or New campaign to describe your own. Tick Daily for fresh leads every morning.

Two ways to install

In the cloud, or on your own computer.

Easiest · always on

One click on Railway

Railway is a hosting service. It runs your own copy of Lead Radar on its servers at its own web address, so daily searches happen while your computer is off. No code, no terminal.

Free · on your computer

Let Claude Code or Codex install it

Paste this into Claude Code or Codex. It installs Lead Radar, checks it works, and asks for your two keys one at a time.

Install Lead Radar on this computer from https://github.com/jbellsolutions/lead-radar-kit. Follow INSTALL.md.

Built to be safe

A list, not a bot.

Never contacts anyone

It reads public posts only. It can't post, comment, like, follow or message, and a test in the code checks that on every change.

Your data, your accounts

It runs on your Railway or your computer, with your own keys. Nothing goes to us, and there's no account with us to make.

Proof with every lead

Every lead carries the person's own words and a link to the post, so you can check it before you reach out.

Questions

Good to know.

Is it really free?

The software is free. You pay the services it uses, on your own accounts: searches (ScrapeCreators gives 100 free credits, then about $10 per 5,000), AI (a few cents a run on OpenRouter) and hosting (Railway's trial is free; Hobby is $5 a month). Or run it on your own computer for no hosting cost.

What is Railway, and do I need it?

Railway is a hosting service that keeps your copy online at its own web address, so daily runs happen while your computer is off. You don't need it if you'd rather run Lead Radar on your own computer with Claude Code or Codex. Other options, like an always-free cloud server with Docker, are in the README.

Will it message people for me?

No. Lead Radar only reads public posts and hands you a list. You decide who to contact and how.

Can I use it for any business?

Yes. Describe what you sell in a sentence and it drafts a search plan you can edit. The examples cover services, B2B, finance, education and a local trade, so there's usually a close starting point.

Which platforms does it search?

Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, public Facebook groups and Google, plus job boards (OnlineJobs.ph, We Work Remotely, Freelancer). X is covered through Google. Private groups and Skool aren't covered.

Where do I find my password?

On Railway: open your project, click the service, then Variables, and it's RADAR_DASHBOARD_PASSWORD. On your computer it's the RADAR_DASHBOARD_PASSWORD line in the .env.local file in the Lead Radar folder.

Can my AI agent use it?

Yes. The repository includes a skill any agent can follow (Claude Code, Codex and others) to create campaigns, run them and report new leads through your dashboard's API.
